XIII Encuentro Coral Ciudad de Tomares

Es un verdadero honor y un motivo de profunda alegría darles la bienvenida a la decimotercera edición del Encuentro Coral Ciudad de Tomares.
Durante trece ediciones, este encuentro se ha consolidado como un punto de reunión de coralistas de distintas procedencia para la armonía, la cultura y la pasión por el canto compartido. Año tras año, hemos sido testigos de cómo la voz humana —el instrumento más antiguo, noble y expresivo que existe— tiene la capacidad única de emocionar, unir a las personas y acortar distancias.
En esta edición tan especial, tenemos el privilegio de contar con un cartel de magnífico nivel que enriquecerá nuestra velada.
En primer lugar, contaremos con el Coro Magerit de Madrid, quienes no han dudado desde el momento en que se lo propusimos, en recorrer kilómetros para compartir con nosotros su sensibilidad, su impecable trabajo vocal y la riqueza de su repertorio. De igual manera, nos llena de orgullo recibir a nuestros vecinos del Coro Orippo de Dos Hermanas, una formación de referente en nuestra provincia que siempre nos deleita con su elegancia y calidad musical. A ambas formaciones, a sus directores y a cada uno de sus miembros, gracias por acompañarnos, por su entrega y por hacer posible este intercambio cultural que tanto nos enriquece.
Pero si hay algo que hace que esta decimotercera edición quede grabada en nuestra memoria con un brillo particular, es la celebración que nos toca de cerca. Nuestra querida Coral Polifónica de Tomares cumple 25 años de trayectoria.
Se dice pronto, pero un cuarto de siglo de historia encierra miles de horas de ensayos, un compromiso inquebrantable, superación constante y, sobre todo, un profundo amor por la música. Durante 25 años, la Coral Polifónica de Tomares ha sido embajadora del nombre de nuestro pueblo allá donde ha llevado sus voces, tejiendo lazos de amistad entre sus componentes y regalando momentos inolvidables a nuestra comunidad. Porque, al igual que en este encuentro, la Coral Polifónica de Tomares ha participado en encuentros corales no solo a lo largo del territorio nacional, sino también en Francia y Portugal. Cumplir 25 años no es solo mirar atrás con orgullo por el trabajo realizado, sino también mirar al futuro con la ilusión renovada de seguir cantando juntos durante muchos años más.
A los coros participantes, gracias por su esfuerzo y por regalarnos su talento. Al Ayuntamiento de Tomares y a todas las personas e instituciones que hacen posible este evento tras bambalinas, nuestro sincero reconocimiento. Y a ustedes, querido público, nuestro más cálido agradecimiento: su presencia, su escucha atenta y sus aplausos son la verdadera razón de ser de todo lo que ocurre sobre el escenario.

It is a true honor and a source of profound joy to welcome you to the thirteenth edition of the Tomares City Choral Encounter.
For thirteen years, this encounter has established itself as a meeting point for choral singers from diverse backgrounds, united by harmony, culture, and a shared passion for singing. Year after year, we have witnessed how the human voice—the oldest, noblest, and most expressive instrument in existence—has the unique capacity to move us, unite us, and bridge distances.
In this very special edition, we are privileged to have a magnificent lineup that will enrich our evening.
First and foremost, we will have the Magerit Choir from Madrid, who, from the moment we asked them, readily agreed to travel long distances to share with us their sensitivity, their impeccable vocal work, and the richness of their repertoire. Likewise, we are filled with pride to welcome our neighbors from the Orippo Choir of Dos Hermanas, a leading group in our province that always delights us with its elegance and musical quality. To both groups, their directors, and each of their members, thank you for joining us, for your dedication, and for making this enriching cultural exchange possible.
But if there is one thing that makes this thirteenth edition stand out in our memories, it is the celebration that touches us so deeply. Our beloved Tomares Polyphonic Choir is celebrating its 25th anniversary.
It sounds simple, but a quarter of a century of history encompasses thousands of hours of rehearsals, unwavering commitment, constant improvement, and above all, a profound love for music. For 25 years, the Tomares Polyphonic Choir has been an ambassador for our town wherever its voices have taken it, forging bonds of friendship among its members and gifting unforgettable moments to our community. Because, just like in this event, the Tomares Polyphonic Choir has participated in choral festivals not only throughout Spain, but also in France and Portugal. Celebrating 25 years is not only about looking back with pride on the work done, but also about looking to the future with renewed enthusiasm to continue singing together for many more years.
To the participating choirs, thank you for your effort and for sharing your talent with us. To the Tomares Town Hall and to all the people and institutions that make this event possible behind the scenes, our sincere gratitude. And to you, dear audience, our warmest thanks: your presence, your attentive listening, and your applause are the true reason for everything that happens on stage.
